Kinabatangan River Cruise & Sepilok Orang Utan Wildlife Tour Itinerary of 2D1N Sepilok & Kinabatangan River Day 1 Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport or at Hotel Lobby. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, journey will take approximately 30 minutes. On arrival, register at the reception counter and proceed to the reception centre for a 30 min video show on the centre. Proceed to the Platform A to observe the daily 1000 hrs feeding of the Orang Utan. Depart Sepilok Orang Utan Centre to Sukau Village. Journey will take approximately 2 1/2 hours. Fascinating River Cruise along Kinabatangan Ox-Bow Lake Itinerary of 2D1N Kinabatangan Ox-Bow Lake River Cruise Day 1 Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport or at Hotel Lobby. Depart for Gomantong Caves, journey will take approximately 2 hrs passing by Oil Palm plantations and villages. On arrival, take a 10 minute walk to the cave entrance of Simud Hitam. Explore these magnificent limestone caves, home to millions of bats and swiflet birds. Enthralling Selingan Turtle Island Excursion A Rare Opportunity to Watch Turtle Landings and Hatchlings Itinerary of 1D1N Selingan Turtle Island Excursion Day 1 Firstly, meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport or at Hotel Lobby. Transfer to jetty downtown to board boat for transfer to Selingan Turtle Island. Journey will be approximately 1 hr. Upon arrival, register at the reception and check in to the chalet. Free at leisure. Lunch at the cafeteria. After dinner, unwind while wait for the park ranger to signal for turtle watching. Experience the whole activity of the turtle laying eggs and also covering the hole. In addition, experience the tagging of the turtle by the park ranger. Witness the transferring of the eggs to the hatchery. If there are young turtle hatchlings (baby turtle), an opportunity to observe the hatchlings being released to the sea. Overnight at the Chalet. Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre: A Half-Day Excursion to Visit the Orangutans of Borneo Sample Itinerary for Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre Tour Firstly, meet upon arrival at Sandakan Airport or at Hotel lobby. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre for a unique Wildlife Tour. The journey overland will take approximately 30 minutes. On arrival, register at the reception counter. Firstly, proceed for a 30 min video show on the Centre. The Centre was founded in 1964, to rehabilitate orphaned baby orangutans - most rescued from logging sites/plantations because of illegal hunting or illegal pet trade. Proceed to the platform to observe the daily feeding of the Orang Utan (time: 1000 hrs & 1500 hrs). In addition, you can visit the nursery area where the younger Orang Utans first learn to be outside and play on a large climbing frame.
