Kuching City Tour (EB-KCH01)

Brief Description Kuching, in Malay language means ‘Cat’. Situated at the mouth of the Sarawak river with a population of about 360,000 people is the first pleasant surprise for most visitors to Sarawak entering the State through Kuching International Airport. Kuching is the gateway to the land of hornbill or what was formerly known as the land of the White Rajah, Sir James Brooke or the land of the headhunters. Kuching City’s best historical reminders can be seen on the walking tour of Kuching. Situated within close proximity to each other are the Tua Pek Kong Temple, the Courthouse, the State Mosque, Square Tower, the General Post Office building, the Pavilion, the Sarawak Museum which is the finest in Southeast Asia, and Chinese History Museum and the Islamic Museum. A short boat ride across the Sarawak River brings one to the Fort Margherita, which is now a Police Museum. Of course, there is also the Satok Suspension Birdge and Malay villages, where house are built on stilts. If weather permitting, flight will offer a view of the islands of Kota Kinabalu and the pinnacles. On arrival, transfer to Royal Mulu Resort. In the afternoon, briefing by tour guide and depart to Deer Cave and Lang Cave. Marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites in these caves. Labuan city tour (EB-LBN01)

Descriptive Itinerary Morning Departure : 0930hr   Afternoon Departure : 1430hr Meet on arrival at airport / ferry terminal or at Hotel Lobby. Proceed for the tour with the first stop at the Museum Square, where one can still see a few old houses of colonial design. Four old Flame of the Forest still stand in this area, casting a shade over park benches and commemorative stones. The trees were planted by the Chinese, Malay , Indians and European Communities in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll. From the Museum Square, proceed to the Chimney at Tanjung Kubong, the Chimney is a 106 feet high red brick stack believe to be linked to the coal mining days of Labuan.
