Itinerary for Abai Mangrove River Cruise Meet at Hotel lobby for transfer to jetty to board speed boat across the bay, into the Abai mangrove swamps. Cruise in the mangrove swamps till the Kinabatangan River mouth passing by the village of Maumiang. Proceed along the Kinabatangan River to the riverine village of Abai. A brief stop at the village to pay a visit while observing the village lifestyle. Cruise to search for the elusive proboscis monkeys as well as other wildlife. Return to Sandakan Town.
