Itinerary

Day 1

• Arrive Kota Kinabalu.
• Meet on arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).
• Transfer to Accommodation.
• Free at Leisure.
• Overnight at a city hotel.

Day 2

• Meet on arrival and transfer to airport for flight to MULU (World Heritage Sites)
• Meet on arrival and transfer to accommodation.
• In the afternoon, briefing by the tour guide and proceed to Deer Cave and Lang Cave.
• In the late evening, watch the bats flying out of the caves in the millions.
• Overnight at the Park HQ.

Day 3

• After breakfast, depart by longboat to Wind Cave, en-route stop at the Penan Tribe, an opportunity to observe the livelihood of one of the tribes in Borneo.
• Proceed for a ten minute walk to Clearwater Cave.
• Picnic lunch after visiting the caves.
• Return to accommodation.
• Free at leisure.
• Overnight at the Park HQ.

Day 4

• After breakfast, transfer to Airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu.
• Meet on arrival and proceed for Kinabalu Park Tour ( World Heritage Site ).
• Arrive at Kinabalu Park, enjoy the cool and refreshing mountain air, if day is clear a majestic view of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia.
• Proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails with the park naturalist. While walking, listen to the sounds of the jungle and observe nature’s plants, trees, orchids and butterflies. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimated 4,500 species of plants which includes 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies.
• Evening depart back to Kota Kinabalu.
• Overnight at a city hotel.

Day 5

• Free at own leisure.
• Meet at accommodation and transfer to KKIA for flight out.
• End of Tour.
