Kota Belud, a journey offering a scenic view of paddy fields, villages and a picturesque sight of Mount Kinabalu from a different angle. Enroute, a brief detour to a small town called Tuaran for sightseeing and an opportunity to go for a short walk on the suspension bridge across the Tuaran river. Continue journey to Kota Belud.

Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia's Natural Heritage site. Journey will take approx. 2 hours passing by villages, paddy fields along mountainious roads that wind along the Crocker range. A brief stop over at Nabalu, a collection of native stalls selling fruits, vegetables, local produce and handicrafts. An opportunity to observe the local stall activities.
