Highlights SABAH; SARAWAK; Mulu Caves; Kinabalu National Park Itinerary Day 1 Arrive Kota Kinabalu. Meet on arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). Transfer to Accommodation. Free at Leisure. Overnight at a city hotel. ( No Meals ) Day 2 Meet on arrival and transfer to airport for flight to MULU (World Heritage Sites) Meet on arrival and transfer to accommodation. In the afternoon, briefing by the tour guide and proceed to Deer Cave and Lang Cave. In the late evening, watch the bats flying out of the caves in the millions. Overnight at the Park HQ. ( No Meals ) Day 3 After breakfast, depart by longboat to Wind Cave, en-route stop at the Penan Tribe, an opportunity to observe the livelihood of one of the tribes in Borneo. ITINERARY Day 1: ARRIVAL/KOTA KINABALU - Arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). - Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel. - Overnight at a city hotel in Kota Kinabalu. (No Meals) Day 2: KOTA KINABALU/KINABALU NATIONAL PARK - Depart from your hotel at around 08:30 for a 2-hour drive into the Crocker Range. - Enjoy superb mountain views as you travel to the Kinabalu Park at about 1,500m above sea level. - Check into your accommodation and after lunch, we shall explore one of the many trails that lead through the tropical Montane Oak and Chestnut Forest. - Overnight at a Mountain Lodge near Kinabalu Park. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 3: KINABALU NATIONAL PARK/PORING HOT SPRING/SANDAKAN - Drive to Poring Hot Springs from Kinabalu National Park. - Lowland Dipterocarp Forest makes most of the vegetation at Poring and it is an excellent place to view lowland birds and some mammals. - There are Japanese Baths where visitors can soak themselves and let the invigorating sulfurous water stimulate the body. - A shorter trek to the canopy walkway for a bird's eye view of the Tropical Rainforest. - Proceed overland to Sandakan and transfer to hotel. - Overnight at

Itinerary Day 1: KOTA KINABALU-KUDAT CULTURAL-LONGHOUSE Depart from your hotel at around 08:30 for a 2-hour ++ drive into the Northern Tip of Sabah, Kudat. Kudat is home to Sabah's most traditional tribal group, the RUNGUS (pronounced Roong-oose), which are fascinating and friendly people. A stop at Gombizau Village to see how the local honey is produced and buy some as a tasty sourvenir. Later, stop by at Sumangkap Village - a gong making village. Gongs are the major Rungus musical instruments. Next stop, settle at Bavanggazo Village to witness the lifestyle, culture and traditional costume and beads of the Rungus. ( No Meals ) Day 2 Meet at hotel lobby early morning. Transfer to airport for flight to Sandakan. Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, journey will take approximately 30 minutes. On arrival, register at the reception counter and proceed to the Platform A to observe the daily 1000 hrs feeding of the Orang Utan. After witnessing the feeding, proceed to the reception centre for a 30 min video show on the centre. Depart Sepilok Orang Utan Centre to Sukau Village, journey will take approximately 2 1/2 hours. On arrival, board boat for a 5 minute transfer to the river lodge. Check in and lunch will be served at the main hall. Board river boat for boat cruise along the Kinabatangan river, the longest river in Sabah, to search for the elusive Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the late evening. Proceed for a 30 to 40 minutes drive via the old Penampang-Papar road to the southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (about 25 km from the city centre). The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, which occupies an area of 280 acres is one of the largest wildlife parks in Malaysia. Currently, the Park has more than 100 species of tropical animals comprising mammals, birds and reptiles. The park consists of two components: zoological and botanical, as well as a Children's Zoo. You will be able to witness rare animals like the endangered pygmy elephants, gibbons, clouded leopard, civet cats, tarsiers and orang utans. 1100 hr - Catch the entertaining Animal Show at the Park's Amphitheater (except Friday).
