Miri Crocodile Farm & Pottery Shop – EB-MYY06

Brief Description of Itinerary A pleasant scenic coastal drive along Miri-Kuala Baram road from Miri takes 30 minutes which located near Kuala Baram Ferry Terminal. The farm has more than 1,000 salt and fresh water crocodiles in a 22 acres landscaped setting with natural breeding enclosure and perfectly man made sanctuary ponds specially carved out for the reptiles. Come & Experience the Mysterious World of Crocodiles!! After leaving the farm, you will visit one of the pottery shop at Miri-Kuala Baram road. The ethnic, modern and contemporary design ceramic pots, vases and handicrafts are being sold as a memorable souvenir. 2D/1N Niah Cave Tour – EB-MYY04

Tour Description First a 2 hr drive on bumpy tarmac from Miri. Stop for refreshments at the turnoff to Batu Niah - Ngoo’s Food Market - and see some of the natural produce on display. After arrival at Park Headquarters and check in to the chalet accommodation, which is large and spacious, it is time to start the 3 km plank walk to the main cave - about 1 hour each way. (Can be slippery when wet; easy walk when dry.) Take water; some drinks are also available along the way (sometimes!). Traders Cave comes first just before the main cave - it is a long low cave with old trading stalls made out of Belian wood (ironwood), some of them nearly 100 years old. Then the main cave with its little houses and shelters. Follow the marked route into the depths of the cave system (you need a torch which can also be hired for a pound!). It is basically a circular tour through the cave system and then head back to entrance, unless you want an extra hour’s walk to the Painted Cave, which is interesting but adds a lot of walking! Niah Cave Tour – EB-MYY03

Tour Description Niah is further down the road from Lambir Hills National Park. In the morning, take a one-and-a-half hour drive to Niah from Miri. On arrival, inspect the massive oval cave which housed Neolithic man. Observe modern man gather bird nests for the famous "bird nest soup" from the very top of the cave more than 200 feet up on bamboo poles. Overnight recommended at the Park Headquarters (private room) as otherwise, it is a 3 hour drive and a 3 hour walk all in one day, with little time for relaxation or sight-seeing. Tour Description The tour begins with a City Tour of Miri in the morning. Starts with a trip up Canada Hill to visit the Grand Old Lady of Miri - the first oil well to be drilled here and a fine panoramic view of the city seawards and to the south towards Mulu and Lambir Hills. Then a drive round the old town, a glimpse of the new "Fan City" civic centre, time to buy a few handicrafts or books if desired, before settling down to a fine multi-course buffet lunch at the Cafe Rosita in one of Miri's oldest 4-star hotels. After lunch continue to Lambir National Park, which is about a 30 minute drive, for an afternoon in the jungle! A beautifully preserved slice of primary jungle welcomes you as you walk beside a crystal clear little stream along to a large rock pool with 30 foot waterfall for a nice refreshing dip in the emerald waters. Currently, the Park has more than 100 species of tropical animals comprising mammals, birds and reptiles. The park consists of two components: zoological and botanical, as well as a Children's Zoo. Kiulu White Water Rafting (EB-KK09)

**0900 hr -  Depart from hotel for Kiulu River, located in the Tamparuli District. Journey will pass through the countryside offering views of paddy fields and villages. 1030 hr - On arrival, a briefing on the river, the various rapids, safety procedures will be conducted by the River Guide. After the briefing, all rafters will put on their rafting gears - lifejackets, helmets and collect their paddle. 1045 hr - Start rafting down 9km of the Kiulu River ( Grade 1 - 111 ). Enjoy the exhilarating ride down the White rapids and get to know the various points like Body Rafting, The Wall Rapid, Holy Smoke Rapid till the ending point. 1215 hr -  Arrive at the ending point.
