Itinerary Day 1: KOTA KINABALU-KUDAT CULTURAL-LONGHOUSE Depart from your hotel at around 08:30 for a 2-hour ++ drive into the Northern Tip of Sabah, Kudat. Kudat is home to Sabah's most traditional tribal group, the RUNGUS (pronounced Roong-oose), which are fascinating and friendly people. A stop at Gombizau Village to see how the local honey is produced and buy some as a tasty sourvenir. Later, stop by at Sumangkap Village - a gong making village. Gongs are the major Rungus musical instruments. Next stop, settle at Bavanggazo Village to witness the lifestyle, culture and traditional costume and beads of the Rungus. Evening after dinner, join in their merry making and enjoy the Rungus traditional dance performances. Overnight at Bavanggazo Village Homestay. Itinerary Day 1: KOTA KINABALU-KINABALU NATIONAL PARK Depart from your hotel at around 08:30 for a 2-hour drive into the Crocker Range. Enjoy superb mountain views as you travel to the Kinabalu Park at about 1,500m above sea level. Check into your accommodation and after lunch, we shall explore one of the many trails that lead through the tropical Montane Oak and Chestnut Forest. Overnight at mountain lodge or similar. (Lunch & Dinner) Day 2: KINABALU NATIONAL PARK-PORING HOT SPRING Drive to Poring Hot Springs, Lowland Dipterocarp Forest makes most of the vegetation at Poring and it is an excellent place to view lowland birds and some mammals. Tour Code: EB-SAB03 Itinerary Day 1 Arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA). Transfer to hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel in KK City. ( No Meals ) Day 2 Meet at hotel lobby early morning. Transfer to airport for flight to Sandakan. Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, journey will take approximately 30 minutes. On arrival, register at the reception counter and proceed to the Platform A to observe the daily 1000 hrs feeding of the Orang Utan. After witnessing the feeding, proceed to the reception centre for a 30 min video show on the centre. Depart Sepilok Orang Utan Centre to Sukau Village, journey will take approximately 2 1/2 hours. On arrival, board boat for a 5 minute transfer to the river lodge. Check in and lunch will be served at the main hall. Board river boat for boat cruise along the Kinabatangan river, the longest river in Sabah, to search for the elusive Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the late evening. Itinerary Day 1  Arrive Miri Meet on arrival at Miri airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight at Dynasty Hotel or equivalent. (No Meals) Day 2  Miri – Brunei – City Tour Pick up from hotel and transfer by land to Brunei. On arrival at Bandar Seri Begawan the Capital of Brunei. Visit the Brunei Museum where houses a fine collection of Brunei artifacts. Lunch at local restaurant. Other significant monuments and destinations where we will visit includes the Royal Regalia, National Mosque, the Sultan Palace and Kampong Air (Water Village). Transfer to Hotel Holiday Lodge or equivalent for check-in. Evening transfer to Jerudong Park hawker center for dinner. After dinner enjoy tech ride and transfer back to hotel for overnight stay. After registration at the Park Headquarters, visitors will proceed with a 15 minutes walk. Along the way, you will see untouched flora and fauna. Recent studies suggest that Lambir Hills has the greatest level of plant biodiversity in the world. Lambir Hills is also dotted with attractive waterfalls, which are at their best after a rainfall. The Ibans are the single largest tribe in Sarawak and they traditionally live in longhouse which are actually a number of rooms linked together but sharing a common ‘ruai’ - a verandah where traditional ceremonies are performed.
