3D2N Mulu Cave Extravaganza Ex-KK (EB-ML02)

Itinerary

Day 1

• 0740 Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport.

• Depart Kota Kinabalu for Mulu caves (journey will take approx. 1hour).

• If weather permitting, flight will offer a view of the islands of Kota Kinabalu and the pinnacles.

• On arrival, transfer to Royal Mulu Resort.

• In the afternoon, briefing by tour guide and depart to Deer Cave and Lang Cave.

• Marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites in these caves.

• In the late evening, watch the bats flying out of the caves in the millions.

• Overnight at Royal Mulu Resort.

Day 2

• After breakfast, depart by longboat to Wind Cave. Visit the tribal settlement of the Penan Tribe. Observe the livelihood of one of the tribes of Borneo.

• Proceed for a ten minutes walk to Clearwater Cave, explore one of the natural wonders of the world.

• Picnic lunch after visiting the caves.

• Return to the Royal Mulu Resort.

• Free at leisure.

• Overnight at Royal Mulu Resort.

Day 3

• After breakfast, free at leisure till transfer to airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu.

• Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel.

• End of Tour

NOTE: There are 3 weekly Kota Kinabalu-Mulu direct flights, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. There is a need to transit via Miri on other days.

To Bring/Wear: Insect repellant, raincoat, hat, wear good walking shoes, bring extra change of clothings, toiletries, etc., torchlight/flashlight.
