Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).
Transfer to hotel.
Free at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel in KK City.

Day 2

Meet at hotel lobby early morning.
Transfer to airport for flight to Sandakan.
Meet on arrival at Sandakan Airport.
Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
On arrival, register at the reception counter and proceed to the Platform A to observe the daily 1000 hrs feeding of the Orang Utan.
After witnessing the feeding, proceed to the reception centre for a 30 min video show on the centre.
Depart Sepilok Orang Utan Centre to Sukau Village, journey will take approximately 2 1/2 hours.
On arrival, board boat for a 5 minute transfer to the river lodge. Check in and lunch will be served at the main hall.
Board river boat for boat cruise along the Kinabatangan river, the longest river in Sabah, to search for the elusive Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife.
Return to the lodge in the late evening.
Dinner and overnight at the River Lodge at Sukau by the Kinabatangan River.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart for Sandakan Town, enroute stop at the Gomantong Cave.
Journey will take approximately 2 hrs passing by Oil Palm plantations and villages.
On arrival, take a 10 minute walk to the cave entrance of Simud Hitam.
Explore these magnificent limestone caves, home to millions of bats and swiflet birds.
During the collection of the edible bird nest, there will be a lot of workers climbing long rattan ladders to collect the expensive nest.
Depart for Sandakan Town for lunch.
After lunch proceed for the Sandakan City Tour.
Transfer to hotel.
Overnight at Hotel in Sandakan.

Day 4

Meet at Hotel Lobby and depart for for Sandakan Town.
Transfer to jetty to board boat for transfer to Selingan Turtle Island (approx 1 hr journey).
Upon arrival, register at the reception and check in to the chalet.
Lunch at the cafeteria.
Free at leisure.
Meet at the cafeteria for dinner, whilst waiting for the park ranger to signal for turtle watching.
Observe the whole activity of the turtle laying eggs and covering the hole, tagging of the turtle by the park ranger and the transferring of the eggs to the hatchery.
If there are young turtle hatchlings, an opportunity to observe the hatchlings being release to the sea.
Overnight at the Chalet.

Day 5

After breakfast, depart for Sandakan town.
On arrival transfer to airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu.
Free at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel in KK.

Day 6

Free at leisure.
Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to KKIA.
Departure flight from Kota Kinabalu.
End of tour.
( No Meals)
