Tour itinerary:
1st Day
KUALA LUMPUR / DAMAI / KUCHING
Meet and greet at Kuching Airport to
Holiday Inn Hotel/
Similar for overnite.
2nd Day
KUCHING/ LEMANAK LONGHOUSE
(Breakfast,
Lunch & Dinner)
Morning,
pick up from your hotel for an overnight trip to Lemanak River
Longhouse. Journey winds along the country road for 5 hours passing by
pepper, rubber and cocoa plantations amidst green mountainous scenery
with 3 stops along the way - first at a pepper plantation, secondly at
Serian, a small town to buy some presents (Guide will advise) for the
natives and lastly for lunch. Arrive at Lemanak boat jetty in mid
afternoon where a motorized longboat await to take you upriver amidst
overhanging foliage providing shed for the boat journey which takes
about an hour to Serubah or Kesit Longhouse. There you will see among
other things head trophies hanging from the rafters, antique Chinese
jars and some 25 families living together under one roof in a 200-meter
long longhouse. In the evening, after dinner, you will be
welcomed with a costumed cultural dance performance amidst sips of rice
wine. Overnight in the guesthouse.
3rd Day
LEMANAK LONGHOUSE/JUNGLE CAMP SITE
(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
After
breakfast, join the longhouse folks with their demonstration of the
blowpipe and cock fight. Take the jungle walk to the rubber and pepper
plantations, see the animals traps and visit the Graves Yard. Lunch will
be serve in bamboo cooking. Continue trekking to the Camp site. Candle
light dinner in the deep jungle! Night hunting can be arranged
subjected to weather situation.
4th Day
JUNGLE CAMP SITE (Breakfast ,Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast trek upriver
for your
second night in jungle. Night activity will be arrange by the guide.
5th Day
JUNGLE CAMP SITE/ LEMANAK LONGHOUSE (Breakfast ,Lunch & Dinner)
After breakfast packed your luggage and
trek / ferry down river, back to Lemanak Longhouse for overnite.
6th Day LEMANAK
LONGHOUSE/ KUCHING (Breakfast ,Lunch)
After breakfast packed your luggage and
ferry down river, back to civilization to Kuching. Overnite at Damai
Beach/ Lagoon Resort.
7th
Day DAMAI LAGOON (Breakfast)

TOUR WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE
Sarawak Cultural Village –to experience the diversity of the different
culture of the seven major ethnic group of Sarawak through the replicas
of their traditional houses and also enjoy a 45 minutes show at the
village’s theatre.
Free at own leisure for Beach activities.
Overnite at Damai Beach/ Lagoon Resort.
8th
Day DAMAI/ KUCHING/ HOME
(Breakfast)
Free at own leisure till transfer
out. Proceed to Kuching Airport for your homebound flight.
