Brief Description of
Itinerary
Bako National Park is located on Peninsula at the mouth of the Sarawak River and
it can be reached by van/coach in 35 minutes and a 30 minutes boat ride from Kuching. The
coastline of the Park is indented with beautiful rock formations, steep cliff and sandy
bays that provide excellent swimming ground. In this relatively small area 25 species of
vegetations are found in abundance. Monitor lizards, wild board, deer, bird-c, monkeys
(one of which is the Proboscis Monkey) and snakes can be found here in their natural
habitat. Lunch will be served at the Park Canteen. Return back to hotel/airport.
Things You Should
Know: Wear comfortable walking shoes; Light
clothing; Sarawak being in the tropics, it is advisable to dress light; Bring Camera for
those unforgettable moments.
