The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park
is the most convenient place to see all of Borneo's wildlife without getting
out of the city. It is only about 30-40 minutes drive or 25km from Kota
Kinabalu city centre. The 280-acre Park consists of two component:
zoological and botanical. Some of the rare animals at the Park includes the
orangutans, Borneo elephants, Sumatran rhinoceros, proboscis monkeys,
clouded leopard, gibbons, Malayan tigers, otters, civets, ostrich, miniature
horse and more, as well as a variety of birds especially at the Aviary. The
Animal Show at the Amphitheater is a must-see attraction. The Park is
perfect for a good family day out. Kids will have lots of fun especially at
