RELEASES GERMAN JOURNALISTFlash Report:
QUEZON CITY, (ABS-CBN) - The
extremist group Abu Sayyaf has reportedly released kidnapped German journalist Andreas
Lorenz on Thursday.
Reports reaching DZMM radio revealed that Lorenz is now on a
plane bound for Zamboanga City from Jolo, Sulu and is accompanied by Sulu governor
Abdusakur Tan.
Chief government negotiator Robert Aventajado is said to be on
his way to Zamboanga City from Manila to rendezvous with Lorenz and Tan.
Lorenz is a reporter for Germany's Der Spiegel magazine.
