KIDNAPPERS GRANT RELEASE OF 7 MALAYSIANS ZAMBOANGA CITY, (ABS-CBN) - The extremist Abu Sayyaf group
pushed through with the release of seven Malaysians after it was postponed a day earlier.
Reports said the Malaysians were placed on board two
Philippine Airforce helicopters and flown from Jolo to Zamboanga City.
The Malaysians are among a group of international tourists
kidnapped from the Malaysian island resort of Sipadan last April 23.
Prior to this, the Abu Sayyaf already released two Malaysians
a few weeks ago.
