Given its small land mass, tourism in Brunei Darussalam plays a minor role in its economy.   Nevertheless, in recent years, the government has stepped up efforts to diversify its small and open economy, and tourism has been identified as one of the key industry to lead the country's economic expansion in the next millennium.  Brunei has several attractive touristic spots to offer to visitors such as its eco-rich rainforest and national parks.  The current top tourist attraction is the Jerudong Theme Park.
